Attitude extremely bad. Not checking facts before acting on things. Empowerment not allowed. When I made a complaint and thought an individual would be acting on my behalf. This apparently is not the case.
They presume you are a bad person. They do not find out what underline conditions patients have before making an assessment.
They even laugh at patients in distress. I spoke to that individual and explained exactly why I have refused her. I strong believe that individual should not be working for a hospital or any care. Especially when she laughs at patients she does not understand. I escaped from a locked ward. Security?

My son fell and cut the inside of his ear badly on Saturday afternoon. We live in High Wycombe but were at an event at Silverstone on Saturday. He was attended to at the medical centre there who advised we attended John Radcliffe.
The receptionist at the A&E check in area was friendly and helpful. She seemed genuinely concerned for my son. She directed us to their children’s A&E department and told us to take a seat in the waiting area. We were seen within half an hour for an initial assessment, and waited around 2 hours to be seen by a doctor. The doctor took a closer look and spoke to her colleagues and arranged for us to visit the children’s hospital the next morning (Sunday) for further assessment. We asked if we could visit a hospital closer to us and explained that we were out of area, however the doctor felt returning to them would be the best thing to do. We arrived at the children’s hospital on Sunday morning and my son was seen within an hour and a half by the doctor who was able to confirm my son did not need treatment. However due to the nature of the injury they wanted to double check how it was healing and they arranged a follow up appointment for Tuesday morning at the main hospital. We were late for this appointment as we could not find a parking space. Yet we were still seen and told my son was healing well and nothing further was needed.
We had to undertake lots of different visits to the hospital considering no treatment was needed, however due to the nature of the injury I appreciate the effort they have taken to ensure my son is healthy.
