Healthwatch Bucks works across the community to help make sure local people have their say on health and social care.

Our volunteers play a vital role in what we do. When you join the volunteering team, we’ll help you to develop useful skills, boost your confidence and add new experiences to your CV.

At the same time, you’ll be making a difference to the way health and social care is delivered for Buckinghamshire residents.

Why volunteer?

You don’t need any specific skills or qualifications to volunteer with us, but you will:

  • Build your skills and knowledge of health and social care
  • Gain valuable experience at a time and in a role to suit you
  • Make a positive difference within the community
  • Feel valued, empowered and part of a team
  • Meet new people and make new friends
  • Boost your confidence and self-esteem.

We welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds from across Buckinghamshire.

We’ll give you all the training and support you’ll need, and we pay for your out-of-pocket expenses.

A variety of opportunities

There are lots of ways you can volunteer with us, and you can choose a role that matches your interests.

You don’t have to commit to one volunteering role, and it’s up to you how much time you give.

Last year, Healthwatch Bucks volunteers gave 1910 hours to help make a difference to local health and care services.
