Two Buckinghamshire dental surgeries have undergone focused inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with both now described as ‘well led’.

Ash Tree House Dental Surgery in High Wycombe was previously inspected in March 2023. At this inspection, the CQC raised concerns about leadership at the surgery. Its report said Ash Tree House was in breach of regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

Similarly, Market House Dental Surgery in Chalfont St Peter was inspected in March, and was found to be in breach of the same regulation.

Latest inspections

The CQC’s latest report confirms that Ash Tree House Dental Surgery is now meeting legal requirements. It says improvements have been made to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, and that the practice is now providing well led care.

Likewise, the CQC’s new focused report on Market House Dental Surgery states it is now well led and is practising in line with regulations.
