Healthwatch Bucks is looking for new directors to join our Board.

Healthwatch Bucks Board members are non-executive directors who oversee and guide the work we do. The Board makes sure that Healthwatch Bucks is well run, helps to set its strategic direction and ensures that our work benefits the whole community.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for new directors to join our diverse Board of committed volunteers.

Take a look at our Meet the team page to find out about existing Board members and the expertise they bring to Healthwatch Bucks.

What’s expected of Board members?

Board members are asked to commit between eight and 12 hours each month to Healthwatch Bucks. They also need to travel to different locations within the county to take part in our quarterly Board meetings.

Directors serve for a period of three years from the date of their appointment. They are eligible to be re-elected for two further terms of three years, which do not have to be consecutive.

Board member positions are unpaid, but directors may claim out of pocket expenses.
