You can help make the services better for you and your community.

NHS mental health services in Bucks are provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust has asked us to do a project to hear from groups of people who we know from national data have poor access to mental health services and poor outcomes. These are:

  • People who have experienced domestic abuse
  • People who have experienced homelessness
  • LGBT+ communities
  • Minority Ethnic communities (particularly South Asian communities and Black males)
  • People who have had substance misuse issues
  • Areas where there are higher levels of deprivation

If you identify with one or more of these groups, we’d like to hear your views. If you received support, how did it help you and how could services be improved? Maybe you didn’t receive support but have views about the process? If you are waiting for support or advice, we’d like to hear about that too.

You can tell us about your experience anonymously and in confidence by completing our survey. It will only take a few minutes. This survey does not collect any data that can be used to identify you. Please don’t include any personal information like names or detailed health notes in the free text responses.

Take part in the survey

You could also talk to us in confidence. Healthwatch Bucks is independent. We’re not part of the NHS. Please contact us directly to arrange a chat. We can organise for an interpreter to join us, if needed.

What we plan to do

We will write a report based on what we hear. The report will suggest ways that services can be improved for you and your community. We will not include information in our report that could identify you and individual responses will not be shared. We will share our report with the Trust and published it on our website.
