Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board has appointed Philippa Baker as Place Director for Buckinghamshire.
Place Directors lead teams in specific areas and are responsible for developing partnerships with local authorities, Healthwatch and health and social care providers. They also oversee the performance and development of local health services, including urgent and emergency care and primary care.
Philippa has nearly twenty years’ experience in public policy. She has worked across a range of civil service departments including the Ministry of Justice, the Cabinet Office and HM Treasury. Philippa has specialised in health policy since 2015, most recently working as Deputy Director for the Legislation Programme Team. This team oversees the delivery of the Health and Care Act 2022.
