Cheriton Care Home in Amersham has been rated inadequate overall.
Cheriton Care Home is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 27 older people and people with dementia. At the time of the inspection, 19 people were living there.
CQC carried out an unannounced comprehensive inspection to review information held about the service.
Following the inspection, the overall rating for the service dropped from requires improvement to inadequate. Caring and responsive, safe, effective and well-led all moved from requires improvement to inadequate.
The service is now in special measures. This means the service will be closely monitored by CQC. CQC will re-inspect within six months to check that improvements have been made by the provider.
