Healthwatch Bucks was formed in 2013 within the new national network of 148 local Healthwatch.
We are the local health and social care champion. We make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers hear your voice and use your feedback to improve care.
From Healthwatch Bucks’ creation Community Impact Bucks was our parent company and nurtured us to be the successful organisation we are today. We are widely recognised for our work and influence across Buckinghamshire and by the county’s bordering healthcare systems.
The Boards of Community Impact Bucks and Healthwatch Bucks agree the time is now right for Healthwatch Bucks to become independent. Both organisations are proud of the Healthwatch model developed by Community Impact Bucks. Going forward we will explore new opportunities to collaborate.
The change will take effect from April 1st 2022.
