We wanted to find out about the patient experience of remote support for mental health treatment from adult mental health services since April 2020.

In July 2021 we published our Remote Mental Health Survey Report.

In our report, we made recommendations about how to improve the service in the future based on your feedback. We have had a great response from Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. You can read the response below.

Clinical Director, Dr Vivek Kholsa, in the response, said:

We agree and welcome the recommendations. These are in line with our objectives of delivering the best possible care and health outcomes. Also, providing choice in how care and treatment are accessed. We are sharing the report with colleagues and are reviewing the guidance to emphasise the need to ensure that service users know what to do if they have a technical problem during a remote session and have explicit conversations about intervention and treatment endings and what further support is available.
