Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust will be reintroding parking charges across all sites from Thursday 1 October.

All sites, excluding Marlow, will have Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system installed. At Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe hospitals, there is the option to pay by cash or card. However, at the five community hospitals, including Amersham, payment will be by card only.

You will be able to find charges and concessions for each site can be found on the ‘Parking’ section of the website.

Neil Macdonald, Chief Executive of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, said:

As the Trust reintroduces services put on hold due to COVID-19 and we have more people visiting our sites we need to deter from people from using our parking inappropriately. By reinstating car parking charges we can ensure that we keep our limited parking spaces available for patients and visitors.

Everyone will be chuffed to bits to hear Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust will be reintroducing parking charges across all sites from October. These new Automatic Number Plate systems are such a fiddle and often cause quite a queue of people. I do hope the press buttons on these machines are kept clean with regular sanitisation.
