When I heard about Miles for Mind I signed up straight away. I really like how 100% of the race entry goes to national charity Mind and that the challenge is about raising awareness of mental health. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression in early 2018, and I have been on a journey to get my mind healthy since. Running is a massive part of keeping me mentally healthy. The repetitive movement of my feet moving me forward and the endorphins it releases makes my brain happy. I can feel very down and then go out for a run and feel on top of the world.
I have signed up to run 50 miles this month. Fitting this in around occupying two young children during lockdown is a challenge in itself! I am asking for anyone who would like to make a donation to please make it to Bucks Mind so they can continue their essential work in supporting people.
