We’re delighted that we’ve been asked by the CCG to continue supporting PPGs for another year.

Looking ahead

This year, we want to do more to help PPGs access the latest news about health and social care in Bucks. Firstly, we’d like to understand how PPGs currently gather information to share with its members and other patients.

We know some PPG members are signed up to our own newsletter. This gives news about what’s going on nationally and in Bucks, as well as our own work. If you’re signed up already, do you share it with others in the PPG? Are there other topics that you’d like to see included in our newsletter that would help the PPG’s work? Please tell us.

Where else do you get your information from? Is it provided by the Practice? Or perhaps some PPG members check Bucks CCG, Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust and Bucks County Council websites or are signed up to various newsletters. Let us know how you get information now, and if there are any other ways we can support you in accessing health information.

What do you think of our PPG toolkit?

As part of the project this year we’ll be updating our PPG toolkit. If you’ve used the toolkit we’d love to hear your views. How could it be improved? Is there anything missing? Please email Helen Smith with your comments.

PPG articles

Over the last year we’ve really appreciated the articles written by PPG members about the work their PPG does or why they joined a PPG. Thank you. We’d like to carry on sharing examples of the things PPGs are doing to support their practice. So, if you’d like to contribute a short article or if you have an idea for something we could include please let us know.
