The County Show is a great venue for us to meet the public and raise awareness of what we do.
Thanks to our team of trusty volunteers we were able to put in a strong appearance at the Show.
A big part of the day was listening to people’s stories about their care and their opinions on how services are provided. We collected over 50 feedback cards, capturing experiences in more detail. We also enjoyed telling people about what we do and some of our recent successes
It was also good to meet many of our elected Members. It’s a great opportunity to talk to them directly about some of things we hear from the public. And, as residents of Buckinghamshire, we’re keen to hear about their experiences too.
This year we again had a table in the Bucks County Council marquee. It’s great to find out about some of the work they do too. This year we found out that our homes were completely unprepared for an emergency and how to make a rain garden.
All in all, a good day. Maybe we’ll see you there next year?
