In July 2018 we received a response to our report from the Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group.

The CCG has written to all GPs to remind them about the NHS Guidance on registering patients without a permanent address. This also includes other groups such as asylum seekers and travellers.

Dr Raj Bajwa, Clinical Chair of the Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group said:

We are pleased that so many practices across Buckinghamshire are helpful when it comes to providing care to those without a permanent address. It is useful to remind practice teams about the health outcomes and issues facing such people and we encourage practices to review their procedures in light of this report.
