If you had a minor injury such as a sprained ankle, would you know where to go for help and advice? Would you call NHS 111? Would you visit the Minor Injuries and Illnesses Unit at Wycombe Hospital? Or would you go to A&E at Stoke Mandeville Hospital?

What if you were suffering from hayfever or had a nasty cough? What would you do?

Take the urgent care survey

We want to understand what you know about urgent care services in Bucks and why you would use them. In July we will be out and about across Buckinghamshire undertaking this year’s Street View Project. For this year’s project, we are aiming to raise levels of awareness around urgent treatment services and find out the reasons why people use them.

These projects get our staff and volunteers out and out speaking to YOU. We will be asking people to fill in a short survey on whether they know what to do when they need treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.

  1. A minor Injuries clinic in Aylesbury would be an asset. People automatically go to A&E out of hours as there is nowhere else.

  2. This makes sense and would relieve the pressure on A&E. Maybe a triage service could point folk to the appropriate department?
