In April 2017, we published our Dignity in Care Annual Report. This included our recommendations to improve the experience of residents and care home workers.

The Council sent us a formal response in June. We are pleased to say that this month we received the following update.

  • Buckinghamshire County Council will provide, in 2018, workshops and a mini conference / study days, for people from the care home sector to share learning and skills on specific topics
  • The public health team will map community activities and services to support effective use of resources and to increase volunteering and community activities
  • Plans are in the pipeline to improve the website Care Advice Bucks.

The full response will be published in our Dignity in Care Annual Report 2018, which will be out next month.
