Prevention and living a healthy lifestyle is the key to staying well, so it’s always great when a new tool comes along to help us do just that.
Live Well Stay Well is a FREE health improvement service available to anyone over the age of 18. They are experts in working with members of the public and supporting them to make changes to their lifestyles that lead to a healthier life.
It is supported by the NHS and Buckinghamshire County Council.
How can it help me?
Live Well Stay Well can help you be more physically active, reduce the amount of alcohol you drink, lose weight or stop smoking. They can also help if you would like support with the emotional challenges of managing a long term health condition.
Live Well Practitioners can offer a range of different types of support and there’s also a self-help section online if you don’t want to talk to anyone.
Does it work?
Live Well Stay Well has already supported over 4,000 Buckinghamshire residents in its first year to make healthy changes to their lifestyles, including losing weight, stopping smoking, getting a bit more active, and offering support with long term health conditions like diabetes.
Residents can visit the Live Well Stay Well Website and also speak to a Live Well Stay Well Coach.
