We’re pleased to announce that you can now rate and review the providers of Bucks County Council’s homecare services on the website. Since different areas of the county are overseen by different providers you can review them separately:
Aylesbury and Wing – Westminster Homecare Limited
Buckingham and Princes Risborough area – Aylesbury Prime Care
Chesham area – Chesham Prime Care
South Bucks – Westminster Homecare Limited
Haddenham and Winslow area – Simply Together Limited
Wycombe area – Clece Care Services Limited
Please encourage anyone you know to tell us about their experience in this area. We have been very successful in gathering comments on care homes and this feedback all helps others when looking at the services provided. One of those looking at both our own findings and the feedback we collect from the public is the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
On a recent visit to Healthwatch Bucks, Daniel Lloyd, CQC Inspector, said:
The CQC really appreciate the dignity in care reports produced by Healthwatch Bucks following their visits to local care homes. The reports offer a valuable additional source of information for us, as well as for those looking for care homes, and we make use of them as part of our scheduling and inspection process. The independence and lay perspective brought by the Healthwatch volunteers is important to CQC.
So, do those providing care at home turn up on time? What happens when they are sick or go on holiday? Does the person receiving care receive consistent care and feel treated with dignity? Whatever you’d like to tell us, positive or negative, will all build up a picture of domiciliary care in Bucks.
You can of course tell us about other domiciliary care providers (not just those commissioned by Bucks County Council); you can use this form and enter their details in addition to your feedback.
