Films of the nominees in each of the three categories (Health, Social Care and Community) were shown and then the audience voted. The films can be seen by clicking here they are well worth watching to see some inspiring work and stories.

The winners were:

Community: The Princess Centre

Health: Salma Hussain, Bucks Healthcare

Social Care: Amy Collins, Universal Care

Congratulations to all the winners but as a member of the short listing panel I was privileged to read about all those nominated. With over 40 nominations showing the kind of compassion and care that we would all want to receive.

The awards are an initiative of Bucks County Council’s ‘Dignity’ strategy. Healthwatch Bucks is proud to have been involved in what was such a successful event.

Nominations for next year awards will be opening soon, we will let you know when so you can help highlight the kind of excellent work that was recognised at the Dignity event.
