Bucks New Uni students at standShamima, Jack, Safa, Eugenia and Victoria have been working hard to collect the voices of those who live in or who study in High Wycombe.

They launched their GP access survey for 18-24 year olds and started talking to young adults in January. In February, they ran two Healthwatch Bucks stands on the bridge inside the university building where footfall was high. This way, they were able to get to talk to a lot of people of the right age. They have now collected over 250 survey forms from 18-24 year old Buckinghamshire residents.

And for those, who do not fall within that age range, the team asked another set of questions: what works, what doesn’t, and what would you like to improve in the health and social care in the county. Over 120 voices have been collected here too and we look forward to reporting on all of these once the project comes to an end.
