Principal Medical Limited (PML) who currently run the practice at Cressex Health Centre and Lynton House have given notice to terminate their contract. This means the management of the practice will change in June 2015 but this should not impact on patient care as the front line staff will remain working at the Health Centre.

NHS England said:

We’d like to reassure the 8,000 patients that they will continue to receive high quality, local GP services. We have written to patients to let them know about the future changes at Cressex Health Centre and we will continue to keep patients and the local community informed.

Patient care will continue as normal at Cressex Health Centre and the patients will continue to get everything they expect from their practice. All appointments, clinics, prescriptions and appropriate treatment will continue to be provided.

Healthwatch Bucks has been asked to support the process of selecting a new provider to manage Cressex Health Centre. We will be working with NHS England and Chiltern Clinical Commissioning Group to help ensure a smooth transition and so minimise the impact on patient care.

If you have any concerns about services at Cressex Health Centre please get in touch.
